In an act of masterful artistry, our distillers were able to combine power and subtlety into one gorgeous spirit.

How it’s made
No one said making whiskey was easy. But we decided to make it about as difficult as possible, because dammit, we like a challenge.
We promised never to use any grains grown outside the state of Texas, no matter how rare or obscure those grains might be.
We went all the way to Scotland and asked the world’s best stillmaker to build us a 42-foot column still.
And we embrace an inclusive and imaginative worldview: whiskey for the artists, the outsiders, and the ne’er-do-wells. Long live bourbon.

The artist behind the label
To create a darker mood for this more robust version of our flagship whiskey, we turned once again to the label artist for the Straight Bourbon. World-renowned artist (and Austinite) Marc Burckhardt helped us craft a nighttime scene featuring our beloved Musician, with a starry night sky that reflects the mysterious nature of the spirit inside the bottle.

- 1.5OZSTILL AUSTIN CASK STRENGTH
- 2OZHONEY LEMON SYRUP
- 1LEMON SLICE
To prepare the honey lemon syrup, add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup honey into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until honey is dissolved. Allow to cool. Combine 2oz honey lemon syrup and 1.5oz Still Austin Cask Strength in a shaker, and strain over ice. Garnish with lemon.

Combine mint syrup, lemon peel, and bitters in a rocks glass. Muddle to dissolve sugar and release citrus oils. Add Cask Strength. Add ice or single large ice cube and stir.
