TASTING ROOM GENERAL MANAGER

Our new campus will cover over six acres with a new distillery, bottling facility, aging warehouse, and a hospitality division offering several experiences. POSITION SUMMARY
Still Austin is in search for a General Manager to lead our current Distillery Tasting Room & Bar. The General Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring a superior guest experience through excellent hospitality and service. The General Manager partners with the Director of Hospitality to set, meet, and exceed the goals of the business by ensuring alignment with the mission and goals of the business and the vision and values of Still Austin. The General Manager must possess strong leadership skills, a friendly yet competitive spirit, and a passion for hospitality and business sensibilities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
Cultivate a culture of service and hospitality that supports our business objectives and growth.
Recruit, schedule, train, lead and inspire staff in delivering excellent service and hospitality for our guests.
Collaborate w/ Production, Sales and Marketing Teams to create opportunities building and strengthening a devout fan base.
Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve guest experience, operational efficiencies and business growth.
Oversee menu development in collaboration with Directors, Sales and Marketing team.
Foster a fun, safe, positive and productive environment filled with ongoing training, education and coaching.
Monitor and manage budget, cost control and labor.
Balance day to day operational and administrative responsibilities.
Build foundation and SOPs for operational excellence w/ clarity, goals, resources and metrics.
Monitor compliance with codes, regulations, health and safety regarding bar operation and the distillery.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned to support
team objectives and operational success.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of leadership experience in restaurant, bar hospitality.
Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails technique and trends.
Strong background in managing alcohol-driven businesses with significant event or entertainment components.
Proficient in restaurant management process and systems.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills effective with guests, colleagues and staff.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage financial performance and deliver profitable results.
Food Handler Manager & TABC certified.
Retail experience a plus.
Live entertainment coordination a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with federal, state, and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for the entire workday.
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the store. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
COMPENSATION
- Annual salary of $75,000 with an up to 20% bonus potential.

Logistics & Fulfillment Manager
Will oversee all aspects of customer order processing, warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping preparation, and all internal and external logistics coordination. The Fulfillment & Logistics Manager will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, reporting to Vice President of Production.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation.
- Coordinating with customers and distributors to fulfill and ship purchase orders within an appropriate timeframe.
- Responsible for the scheduling and managing of inbound and outbound logistics at all Still Austin warehouse location to ensure timely delivery of products and prevent inventory shrinkage.
- Driving inventory control of material to ensure on-time delivery to customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels to meet the site business objectives.
- Coordinate with Vice President of Production that correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances.
- Drive standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, warehouse management and order fulfillment to meet operational goals.
- Support key stakeholders in optimizing procurement and vendor management strategies to improve lead times and overall production performance.
- Responsible for a team of warehouse staff to support warehousing and inventory control initiatives and ensuring best warehouse practices are met daily. Owns coordinating movements of the team throughout all Still Austin locations.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule production runs based on demand forecasts and inventory levels, ensuring timely availability of raw materials and components. Responsible for staging all needed production materials appropriately and communicating quickly on any issue with materials.
- Reporting weekly on multiple fulfillment and performance KPIs, providing data-backed updates to management to improve order fulfillment and vendor performance.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven track record of analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply management, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position. Experience in brewery, distillery, or CPG operations preferred. Will be responsible for some compliance documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), and in Whiskey Systems handling the inventory management systems and warehouse management systems.
- Detail-oriented with multitasking capabilities.
- Must be fork lift certified and able to operate forklift on a daily basis.
